Knitting Pattern Soeurducoeur Sweater

Our "Soeurducoeur" Sweater is the big sister to the "Cardiducoeur" – for all who want to wear the light, fluffy, oversized mohair character as a sweater too. The raglan pullover is knitted from top down with 9mm needles and 4 strands of yarn, and the collar is finished with a rounded I-Cord edge using 7mm needles.

This knitting project is suitable for advanced beginners who want to familiarize themselves with raglan increases. The knitting pattern describes the process step by step; there are no extra tutorials except for the I-Cord collar.

Before starting to knit, the yarn must be wound into 4 strands, as described in the instructions. Here is a YouTube tutorial on how to wind 4 strands.

Sizes:
XS/S (M/L) XL/XXL suitable for bust circumference 80-90 (91-101) 102-120 cm
Size specifications are separated by brackets.
If only one size is given, it applies to all sizes.

Material:
300 g Lana Grossa Silkhair (25 g = 210 m), 4-ply or
300 g Walk Collection Kid Mohair Lace (50 g = 420 m) 4-ply

If you want to knit your Sœurducœur in one color - this is how much the finished sweaters of our test knitters weigh: XS / S - 220 - 240 g
M/L - 260 - 270g
XL/XXL 270 - 300 g

Needles: 9 mm/80 cm + 40 cm and 7mm/ 40 cm for I-Cord on the collar
or the needle size that achieves the correct gauge.

Gauge: 10 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm with 9 mm needles (stockinette stitch)
