Knitting pattern "Lottapants"
Our striped knitted trousers pattern "Lottapants" is a comfortable and versatile everyday companion, perfect for an advanced knitting project. The trousers are worked from the top down and include an elasticated waistband. The pattern includes helpful video tutorials from our YouTube channel.
Information on the size/fit of Lottapants:
The Lottapants have a relaxed, comfortable fit with straight legs. They sit at the navel, but the elastic waistband allows them to be worn high-waisted. The stretch of the wool also makes sizing flexible: if you prefer a closer fit, choose one size smaller. If you prefer a looser fit, choose one size larger.
Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL
Suitable for waist sizes 62-66 (67-72) 73-78 (79-84) 85-90 (91-96) 97-102 cm
Material:
550 (550) 600 (600) 650-700 (750) 800 g Ecopuno by Lana Grossa (50 g = 215 m ), double yarn divided into 350 (350) 400 (400) 450 (500) 550 g Colour A (main colour)
and 200 (200) 200 (200) 200-250 (250) 250 g Colour B (stripe colour)
Please note: The amount of yarn required depends on the length of the trouser legs. The specified amount of yarn was sufficient for our test knitters to achieve an inseam of approximately 75 cm.
The trousers can be knitted from wool, but also from cotton (= any wool that matches the gauge and running length) and are therefore a basic for every season.
Furthermore, the trousers do not necessarily have to be knitted with double yarn. For example, cotton yarn with a ratio of 50 g = 100 m would also work.
